In addition to the validated ISMS, the West Valley Demonstration
Project has been recognized by DOE every year since 1999 as a STAR
site in the DOE Voluntary Projection Program (VPP). VPP STAR
sites are characterized as having achieved a high level of
commitment to conducting work safely. The WVDP has also been
recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a
Charter Member in the EPA's National Performance Track program.

are recognized.
